Data Hall perimeter protection that is a cost effective measure to increase compliance with ISO/IEC22237-6:2018 Information Technoloogy – Data Centre Facilities and Infrastructure, Protection Class 3 with specific adherence to “organisational processes” required for compliance.
What This means for data centre facilities is that each data hall, no matter the size, is now able to offer a Class 3 layer of protection internally, owned, managed and reportable via existing physical security systems. You are now in control.
CageWatch utilises specifically designed light curtains in unison with a physical barrier mesh around each data hall to deter, detect and delay intrusion into the data hall area. CageWatch can be integrated with access control systems to assist with monitoring doors in and out of ‘clean in/ clean out’ spaces as well as the data hall area itself.
Doors into and out of data hall areas can no longer be breached by cutting holes in doors as CageWatch creates an impenetrable barrier across each door to detect any intrusion attempt and immediately notify the alarm via the onsite intrusion alarm system.
Flexibilty is the key to any perimeter intrusion system and CageWatch offers users the ability to isolate door alarms for a predetermined period or to allow onsite guard force to complete regular perimeter checks.
